RTI application Fee is mandatory to file your rti. You can pay online RTI fee in India for public authorities, but you need to pull out an eIPO print-out and add it to your RTI application. After completing the first page, a non-BPL applicant must press on the “Make Payment” button to remit the recommended RTI fee.

The applicant may pay the prescribed RTI fee using the following methods:
(i) Internet banking through SBI and its related banks.
(ii) Use of State Bank of India’s ATM-cum-Debit card.

It may be noted that no RTI fee is required to be paid by any citizen who is below poverty line, as per RTI Rules, 2012. However, in this respect, the applicant must add a copy of the certificate issued by the suitable government along with the application.
